We are excited to present to you the next Chief of Police of the Dickinson Police Department!
Chief Cianni has been a lifelong member of the department. He began his career with us in 1994. He rose through the ranks and was promoted to Senior Officer in 2003, Detective in 2005, Patrol Sergeant in 2008, Captain in 2010, and has been serving as Interim Chief of Police since March of 2022.
He has numerous hours of accredited training on his record as well as numerous commendations. Chief Cianni is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Northwest Unversity School of Police Staff and Command.
As the next generation of first responders rises through the ranks, we are fortunate to have Chief Cianni at the helm to guide and nurture a culture of teamwork, integrity, and a dedication to public service.
