The Marketing and Events Department is directed by Joel Walters and provides directives and oversight for all marketing efforts related to Legacy Square, Downtown Dickinson, and the City of Dickinson. This department collaborates with the city administration and the IT Department in the implementation of cohesive branding, intentional marketing, and a unified online city presence through means of the website and social media platforms. The Marketing and Events Department is in charge of all events and programming that are hosted in the Downtown Square.
