Big things are happening at the Dickinson Fire Department. Starting July 1, 2025, we’re proud to announce that EMS services will officially be operated by DFD — enhancing our all-hazards response capabilities and ensuring faster, more integrated emergency care for our community.
Our firefighters don’t just fight fires — they save lives. Now, with full-scale Emergency Medical Services (EMS) integrated into our mission, we’re taking our commitment to public safety to the next level.
We’ve reimagined what service looks like — and it shows.
Check out our new ambulance design, blending the tradition of the Dickinson Fire Department with the life-saving symbol of the Star of Life. It’s a rolling promise of the high-level care we bring to every call.
