The City of Dickinson is advertising a request for proposals (RFP) from Engineering consultants to provide professional services regarding a public safety training center projects as stated on the cover page, refer to the Appendix, Figure 1: Property Location Map. The city anticipates the initial evaluation process for the RFP’s will be completed by the end of business Thursday, December 7th, 2023. Interviews are anticipated to be included as part of the RFP evaluation process. There is no guarantee on a set amount of work or contract value for these services. The engineering plans and reports are intended to be used supporting documents to submit for a Department of Defense (DOD) Local Defense Community Cooperation grant; see attached. Any proposal not complying with all requirements stated in the RFP may be rejected. Funding for this project is through the City of Dickinson for the preliminary engineering. The City of Dickinson is preparing to submit for the DOD Local Defense Community Cooperation grant for the execution of this project which requires the plans to be bid ready at the time of the submittal. The selected consultant shall include in their scope of work and cost estimate the necessary time and costs associated with supporting the City of Dickinson with these requirements. Any recommended changes to the scope of work, milestones, or deliverables are welcomed feedback in the proposals.
